MacBook phone calls

When I call someone on the MacBook it’s writing the Mac and the phone should be on the same WiFi or sometime it’s writing iPhone call failed and it doesn’t give to me to call I try to restart wi fi to restart Mac to restart iPhone but nothing and I don’t know how to fix that please give me a solution

welcome to the Apple Community.

Wondering in what way you are trying to make the phone call, and receive only error messages.
