DELETE CONVERSATION
I miss the DELETE CONVERSATION option. On iOS 14 one could long-hold until MORE appeared, then click DELETE CONVERSATION from a message conversation with a FAVORITE. That was a useful tool. Will it come back?
iPhone SE, 15

Hello ArtwithaB,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you can't delete a conversation within the Messages app with iOS 15.
You should be able to tap/hold the conversation and it should pop open and give you an option to 'Delete' the conversation.
If that doesn't work, try swiping the conversation left on the main Messages screen and then tap the trash icon.
See: Delete messages on iPhone
Note: You can't undo deleting a conversation, once it is deleted you will be unable to restore it.
Let us know if this helps out, take care.
Nope. That’s the problem. My pinned/favorites are those I share the most with, thus the longest threads, using the most memory. I don’t want to unpin my favorite, but I would like to delete photos/links/text, but not have to do it by clicking each, or unpinning and deleting the whole conversation, including the sender. That’s the thing—holding a place for the sender, but erasing all content. There must be SOMEONE else who used this function and loved it and is sad to see it missing….
Hey ArtwithaB,
If you were trying to create additional space but keep the conversation, that is correct there isn't a way to accomplish this without deleting the entire conversation or deleting individual shared files/images.
It would be a good idea to provide Apple with this feedback for future iOS versions here: Product Feedback
Wishing you well, cheers.
