iphone 13 headphones plugged in but speakers are still playing sound

This is happening from time to time, pretty randomly using the lightning headphones connection.

1) Phone is brand new with last ios 15 release.

2) Lightning plug in is brand new.

3) I already tried cleaning both plugs.

I think that the connection fails when the phone is in sleeping mode and not wakening so it doesn't recognize the plug-in or the iphone 13 hole is faulty which i doubt cause i don't have any issues charging it.

Question is, somebody else have the same issue?
