Incorrect PDF format from Onenote for Mac

Hi!

I am trying to get away from Windows 10 but still need to use my Microsoft 365 software.

Almost everything works fine (Outlook365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) but I have a big issue with OneNote.

When trying to create a PDF file, the output format does not fit my A4 page (like it does on my laptop with Windows 10): I didn't find any place where to format this PDF output.

Any idea welcome!

Thank you

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)

I tried to answer your question buy DLing Onenote. But MS demanded that I sign in to their system to be allowed to use the program, and I declined. When I create PDF files on my mac I do it through printing and then choose to save as a PDF. i can then open it as a PDF doc. Are you talking about printing it in A4(8 x 11 essentially size)? When I print out of Pages which opened the pdf document, I can then choose A4 size to print it.

I don’t think I understand what you are talking about.

Indeed you didn’t understand my question. Using « print », I selected « pdf file » and got a pdf that is not correctly formatted (it is not what I see on my screen).

When performing the same operation on my laptop with Windows 10, I just print by selecting Microsoft PDF and I get the proper pdf file.

There is no problem with the display on my screen, only with the PDF format... So I cannot get WYSIWYG ("what you see is what you get")!!!

As I have already written, I do nothing on my laptop running Windows 10 and I get the proper PDF output: so I don't understand why I don't get EXACTLY the same thing with my Macbook Pro M1 (I also went to the shop where I bought it, the so-called Apple expert had no idea how to solve the problem).

I am so disappointed with the Apple world, every time I encounter an issue, finding the guy who knows how to solve it is really hard...

Well, I can't believe Outlook365 is not used by Mac users (as a Windows user, I never had big issues with that software).

If you want a real Mac issue for which I had a hard (and long, like 4 years) time to get the correct answer, here is one: I brought an iMac from Canada (sorry, I'm Canadian) with a QWERTY keyboard so I changed it to AZERTY.

When the Mac was booting up, although I had carefully made sure my preferences had been changed to French AZERTY, the system didn't care and always started as a QWERTY (once you were successfully logged in, it was working)... Imagine my sorrow to discover that after I had changed my password. I even thought someone hacked my iMac, as I couldn't anymore log in!!!

I went to Apple stores and to MacWay stores, and spent numerous hours with the Apple support to not prevail: no one understood how to solve that issue.

So during 4 years, I had to use simple passwords such as "toto"" as they were good for both QWERTY and AZERTY keyboards... I finally found someone who understood how to solve the issue, after 4 years.
