Control Centre causing memory leak in macOS Monterey 12.0.1

Hi, I would like to report an issue that I am experiencing almost each day - it seems that there is a memory leak in the Control Centre process its taking up 8+ GB of memory:

The other day, it went over 70 GB! Not sure, how that happened, and I totally forgot to take a screenshot of that because I was shocked to see it go that high. Luckily I had enough disk space for a memory swap, and it didn't impact my laptop's responsiveness, but overall, its getting quite annoying to be constantly checking the activity monitor and getting notifications that my mac is running out of memory.

@Apple Support - could you please fix this in the next macOS release?

I did not change the settings of the mouse pointer - its set to default.

What about accessibility? And what about 3rd party system modifications? For example, I'm experiencing a different strange problem relating to the mouse pointer, which seems to be problematic in Monterey. I only have two system modifications, Office and a grammar tool. But I still have to disable them to see if that is causing the problem.

If you made changes to customize your mouse pointer and specifically the color choice—restore the defaults and compare your results.
