How can I renew AppleCare before it expires?

I purchased my Macbook Air from my school when I retired. It still has the Applecare ++ for another week. Can I renew it and how do I do this?

Perhaps your version of AppleCare+[+] is one with possibility

of an extension; because some later, were like a subscription.

• Extend your AppleCare+ coverage - Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210580

  • If you paid upfront for an AppleCare+ plan for your Mac, you might

be able to purchase new coverage that renews annually.

(This page suggests the following; while I would not wait, to discover if true.)

"Purchase the new coverage within 30 days after your original coverage ends.

To find out if you can purchase the new coverage, go to mysupport.apple.com

and follow the onscreen instructions."

"The new coverage automatically renews until canceled. Your plan coverage may

continue beyond 24 or 36 months, on a monthly or annual basis, until canceled."

"..If you choose to continue coverage, your coverage will be

subject to .. then-current AppleCare+ Terms and Conditions.."

Maybe contact Apple more directly; you could try Get Support

and see how that works. Should be some aspect of humanity

at work; between semi-automation, and transfers of messages.

All that, & there easily could be 'another layer' to an Onion;

or, maybe that'd be a peeling; in reference to an Apple?!☺️

Take care & happy trails!
