Bluetooth Headset not supported for macos Monterey

This problem is peppered across the forums. I've tried all the suggestions and none have worked. Even a set of headphones that do work ... don't work every time I connect them to my iMac.

I thought you had just thrown up your hands in defeat. I would look further into this but haven't found a BT debug tool yet. This problem seems so prevalent that it gives you pause about Apple's test bucket for OSX 12.
