Random money popping up in iTunes Store, why?

I’ve been using apps other than the iTunes Store for music for a while because I didn’t wanna pay for music, but I went into it today to check what was there and when I checked my balance I had $86.94 in iTunes Store credit which I’ve never bought, is this some type of side reward from buying apple gift cards? Because I’ve been buying them for quite a while and never thought they could do anything but give you App Store cash.

From your post it appears you are wondering where the credit you are seeing came from.

You may be able to determine where the credits came from by looking here: If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support
