siri shortcut dictate text function fails

I create a siri shortcut and add a dictate text function into it.

When I debug it, it runs perfectly, but when I run it in real conditions using Siri, it asks me "What value for the parameter String answer should I set?" That sounds very weird, as now I left only Dictate text command in the Siri shortcut to localize the bug. And it seems the bug is produced by the command Dictate text itself. I use iOs 14.1

Please help.

Thank you

Thank you for the response. I updated to 15.1 this night.

When I put dictate text function into my SHortcuts procedure and run it using Siri, it asks each time when I run it: "Enter text"

But I see from examples of people doing it over the internet it says nothing, it just listens to the text.

I try to set a dialog between my iphone and a user. The user knows that now he has to tell his height, I run Dictate text procedure and instead of just listening it and recognizing it and passing further the result, it asks: Enter the text. How can I resolve it?

Thank you

Faithfully yours,

Nick

Thank you sir for the quick respond. To localize the problem, I created a Siri shortcut that contains the only command: Dictate text. When I run it via debugging using the play style button, everything works perfectly. But when I run it using Siri(as it is mean to be), it says: Enter the text (in my system language). And it is not what I see in examples from youtube, where Dictate text command just accepts my voice without any commands from its side (https://youtu.be/whKwkZHf5cU?t=451)

Please help me to resolve this problem.

Thank you
