What causes this?

So my brother has an IPhone 11 and every time he goes to shut off the phone, whenever he’s on a phone call it just jumps back to the call and then the call screen looks weird. Any idea why this happens?

Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
