I have an iPad model A1219, It is not showing up on the My devise list. How can I update the list to show my iPad?

Your very old first generation iPad is obsolete - and will not be compatible with the majority of Apple iCloud services.
Not myself having access to such an old device, I cannot offer model-specific advice for your iPad - other than to clearly state that your iPad cannot be updated beyond iOS 5.1.1. Native functionality will be extremely limited; compatible Apps for iPad1 will not be available from the Apple App Store.
