How do I fix login problem with bank and other links

Quit Safari 15.1. Press the shift key and launch it again. Clear all history from the application menu. In Safari preferences, disable all added extensions, and on the Advanced panel, select Show develop menu in menu bar. Close Safari preferences.

Now, clear all history via the Safari menu, and clear its browser cache via opt+cmd+e. Quit and relaunch Safari normally, and then enter the link to your bank in the address bar with a return. I recommend this in case the bank has a different link than any prior saved bookmark. Can you connect to your bank?

The problem is with Catalina Security Update 2021-007 10.15.7. Reinstall Catalina after booting in safe mode, you can do any updates it wants you to EXCEPT Catalina Security Update 2021-007 10.15.7. This fixed this issue for me. Now, as far as what vulnerability you are going to be susceptible to by not doing the security update, I don't know. So don't shoot the messenger...

If this is isolated to the Safari browser....try a different browser and compare your results.

Safari Being Inoperable:

Safari does not always work when it comes to particular sites. Picky though but seems, this is typical of Bank and School domains. So, try using another browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

To be sure, Bing is not a browser, it's a search engine like Google.
