I'm seeking advice on an external optical disk drive for my new Mac Mini. I'm looking for one that can be attached to a hub.
I have an Apple USB SuperDrive – A1329 / MD564LL/A - but the Mini will not recognize the drive if it is connected through a hub.
Any suggestions on a device -- or what I need to look for in the technical specs for a compatible drive -- will be appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion. Both of the USB-C ports on the Mini are taken -- one with a monitor, and the other with an external drive case - so I doubt that adapter will be a solution.
However -- will a USB-C hub address my issue?
