trackpad gestures not working on Mac OS Monterrey

How are you switching between Spaces? Dragging with 3- or 4-fingers?

You can also use control-left and control-right arrows as an alternative.

Or use Command-tab to switch between applications.

FWIW, I don't see this problem in my mac.

I can switch with any of the methods above, including swiping left or right with four fingers.

I wonder if this issue may be related to another trackpad issue that seems to affect a significant portion of users: the fact that sometimes a tap to click is not registered, forcing the user to tap again.

Have same issue. Would be great if anyone can pinpoint the cause and how to fix this.
