Sim card no service

I just got my 13 pro max but i am getting no service with my sim card. Ive looked into this and tried many things to get it to work. Lost count of all the time ive restarted my phone, taken out the sim card and put it back, among many other suggested things. When i put the sim card back in my old iphone i do get service. I bought this phone from apple unlocked and my provider is metro pcs.

I did have to end up going into the metro store to get the chip registered to the new phone. They told me some companies/ chips you can change to your new phone no problem (which is how it was when my brother got a new phone, so i didn't know i had to go in the store for mine)but at metro you have to go and get it registered to your new device. So all good and set up now.

Did it successfully activate during set up? If not, see steps in: If you can't activate your iPhone


If that's not the case, try these suggestions for No Service issues: If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad


Should it continue to occur, have you been in touch with your wireless carrier about this yet? If so, what did they say exactly?
