Drag and Drop Not Working From Finder to Slack and Apple Messages on macOS 12.0.1 Monterey

I have drag lock enabled, and when I drag a photo from the Finder (or Photos) and drop it on to Slack or Messages, the icon just freezes in place. If I click on Finder again, the icon disappears, and the drop action fails. Occasionally it will work, but most drop actions indeed fail. Is this a known bug? It's incredibly annoying!

Hey - I have found this to be an issue to when dragging a photo from photos app to an upload window in safari.

Photos stops responding and needs be force quit - Definitely a bug
