Logitech Ipad Air 2 keyboard

My Ipad air 2 is several years old and I purchased the Logitech Ipad Air 2 Canvas external keyboard at the same time. Recently I have been having problems with the number keys on external Logitech keyboard not working.


In an attempt to reload the software for the keyboard, I deleted the Bluetooth link. When I attempt to reload the keyboard link, I'm asked for a pass code and to enter that pass code using the numbers on the external keyboard. Since they don't work, I've been unable to reload my bluetooth keyboard.


Is there away to reload the link without using a pass code -- or to be able to put in the pass code using the internal keyboard on the Ipad? And do you have a solution to why the number keys on the external keyboard don't work. I've looked and looked and can't seem to be able to reach out to Logitech or find any solution that might work for me.
