My music constantly stops mid-song....
Out of the blue, when using the Music app (whether on my iMac, MBP, iPhone or HomePod), my music has been stopping mid-song. The app then may skip to another song after several seconds, or refuse to do anything until I manually skip to the next song, or start the original song over and stop at the same spot. This behavior is sometimes accompanied by a pop-up announcing "To play xxx stop playing on another device," where xxx may be the current song in play or another song that is not even playing! I'm running the latest OS, iOS and HomePod software versions. I have more than sufficient internet bandwidth, no dead spots in our home and have reset my Xfinity X1 gateway. The problem has gotten to the point where playing music has become an aggravating experience.
