Transfer files from older intel macpro to new M1 macpro - any migration problems?

In transferring files from an older MacBook Pro (in my case late 2013) how does “restore backup” from this older Mac Pro convert (if needed) the library documents and core operations files into files to run on the new M1 MacBook Pro?

I assume that intel operating commands are no longer required. Why transfer and place them in a new system if not needed?

Thank you in advance for any answers you may provide.

Are you having an issue?

If they are not needed then the macOS will not take them in...

Transfer your user data is the goal here

The most trouble free way to move to a new machine, is using the Setup Assistant on the initial boot of a brand new machine— you have one shot here. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205749

The second best way is use the Migration Assistant.
