Hi I have spam emails that I have moved to junk as I did not want to open them. How do I block them please.

You may block the contact that sent the email as described in the article linked above.

Your fear is certainly justified and understandable. Personally, I tend not to block these emails because blocking only helps if the same email address sends you repeated junk. I don’t see that very often. Instead, I get spam from new addresses.

Hopefully you’re using iOS 15, as it introduced a new feature called Mail Privacy Protection that will provide much less feedback about you to mail senders if and when you open an email. Of course, be extremely careful not to open any attachment or click on any link in these junk mails.
