I can’t remember my login password for Facebook, I’ve requested for the 6 digit code (email and text) and I’ve received nothing.. this was 2 days ago! Is there another way?

How can I recover my password for Facebook that was created about 9 months ago? I am unable to login or change my password in Facebook. I used the auto generated password about 9 months ago, and failed to make a note of it. Now FB will not allow be back in. I am wondering if there is a way to recover the auto generated password which was assigned to my FB 9 months ago.
