Apple Music doesn't work on my iPhone

Hi there, you're my last hope!


I recently moved from France to the UK. I bought an Apple TV and because I wanted to have access to the UK TV Apps (BBC, AllChannels), I unsubscribe to my previous Apple TV + and Apple Music subscription to be able to change my Country/Region.


Yesterday, I have finally been able to do so. My Apple ID is now set in the UK. So, of course, I re-subscribe to Apple One. Everything works just fine on my MacBook Pro & my Apple TV.


Except, I can't use Apple Music on my iPhone.

So far, I can see all the music added to my library on my laptop (MacBook Pro), but I can't listen to it or download it on my iPhone.


Whenever I try to, it says


"This Apple ID can only be use in an English Store"


  • My iPhone is a french iPhone with a French number
  • My iPhone has been set on UK
  • My Apple ID Country is set on UK


If anyone has a solution, I'd be happy as it is quite annoying, especially as it's working on all of my other Apple Devices. But not the "main" one.

We see you're having issues playing your Apple Music content after switching regions. We'd be happy to help.


Have you been able to try signing out of your Apple ID on the affected iPhone (Settings > [your name] > Sign Out), then restart the iPhone, and sign back in? If not, we'd recommend trying that out.


This step does cause any songs saved for offline use to no longer be downloaded to the device, just to note.


You can also try toggling Sync Library off and back on in Settings > Music.
