Backup of Mail App
Backing up the Mail app, does it use space for all the emails or just the mail server setups? I have three different non-Apple clients on Mail including yahoo and gmail.

Generally, iOS/iPadOS will not include Mail messages in an iCloud or iTunes backup - as the Mail messages remain available on the Mail Provider’s Mail Server until such time as they are explicitly deleted by a Mail client.
The iCloud and iTunes backup does, however, include mail account settings.
