iMac to recycle

I have an older iMac to recycle. I was sent a shipping label that says 18LBS at the top. My device is heavier than that. Should I use that label anyway? If so, will UPS charge me for the additional weight?

Part of the reason for Apple providing the prepaid label is Apple pays. If additional charges are incurred, Apple will be responsible.

My guess is Apple use a generic weight and lets the shipper figure out what the exact cost should be. Saves work on Apple's part not having to contact every single person doing the recycling to get an exact weight.
