Dictation punctuation

Dictation punctuation

My iPhone is adding in punctuation for certain words when I use dictation. I have tried creating shortcuts for autocorrect but they won’t work for dictation. Is there a way to override this?

iPhone 11, iOS 15

Hi,

I have done the steps in this original article and the one suggested above. The only thing so far that this happens with is my sons name, where it adds a '!' after his name, every time!
