Report these Glitches to Apple:
Do your part: Let Apple know what is going on here. Provide them with feedback on this. They may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they received on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come.

No. You cannot downgrade the iOS.
The word 'glitch' is meaningless without an explanation of what is happening. I do see the words 'freeze up,' so you might want to check this link...
I find is is really useless since the upgrade, particularly when trying to select a letter in text.
issue 1 i have is how difficult it is to select a single character or just select a position to insert a character or word. No matter how carefully i click the cursor jumps to no where near, (fat finger syndrome like, without the fat fingers)
issue 2: when i do manage to select the correct place and type or delete a letter, the cursor jumps to the end of line result it having to move back to type or delete subsequent characters,
a total backward step,
IOS 15.1 is a disaster on the iPad generation 5. Freezes up, email is compromised, Facebook you can’t click on comments, and other issues. APPLE, what the heck are you doing???? Did you every actually think of field testing these upgrades before you roll them out???? I know….you think I will buy a new iPad to work around this dysfunction….I will NOT!!!
It’s awful!! Mine just updated this week and it’s been so frustrating!
It’s very glitchy, apps don’t load and you have to swipe them away and try again several times before they actually work properly. The cursor jumps around when typing and it’s nearly impossible to get it to line up next to the word you want to edit or type after.
I hate how the web browser address bar is at the bottom of the screen now too. What the heck is the point of that?!
The screen sometimes randomly goes very bright while I’m in a dark room.
The worst thing they did was undo Do Not Disturb mode without any warning. Half my family and friends live five time zones away so messages come through in the night while I’m asleep. For years I’ve had DND on between 10pm and 7am because of this. Suddenly this week I get woken up at 3am to a very bright screen and a notification alerting me to a message from someone. It took ages for my half asleep brain to work out how to get the new Do Not Disturb settings on so it didn’t happen again.
I wish I’d never updated it!! 😭
Yes I have restarted several times. It seems to be getting worse.
It doesn’t do any good to restart the iPhone. It like to much Glitch in there software or freeze up
I agree, it does not feel user friendly at all. I want to go back to the features before.
it feels like they are making changes for the sake of making changes. If it ain’t broke don’t change it.

For me it’s less about performance issues and more about less than user friendly changes. Both Safari and Contacts changes have virtually made those apps useless.
