I got a problem with macOS Monteray. I inserted an external hard drive where my hard drive didn't appear in Finder, but it showed in disk utility. The hard drive is in NTFS format. I just encountered this problem after upgrading to macOS Monteray.
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.0
Click once on your Desktop.
Click on Finder in the menubar and select Preferences.
Click on General and check the boxes for the devices you want to see on the Desktop.
Click on Sidebar and select the devices you want to see in the Sidebar.
Click once on your Desktop.
Click on Finder in the menubar and select Preferences.
Click on General and check the boxes for the devices you want to see on the Desktop.
Click on Sidebar and select the devices you want to see in the Sidebar.
