Has Apple still not come up with a way to make a new primary @icloud.com address (not an alias)?
My original @icloud.com address is becoming flooded with spam and I would like the option to start over.
Is creating a new Apple ID and then transferring all of my purchases to the new one possible?

You can’t transfer your purchases. However, you can create a new Apple ID, add your original Apple ID and the new one to a family sharing group, then enable purchase sharing. You will then be able to download purchases from one Apple ID on the other one for free.
