I cannot get the Apple TV 3rd Gen. to Activate - Activation Failed. This is possibly why there is no Airplay facility? I have read through many online suggestions. I have reset / rebooted etc. absolutely everything. To No avail? Please help!
Called Apple support. My Apple TV is not compatible with all my other Apple devices. Not too bothered about the “Activation Failure “, as this doesn’t seem detrimental. But I am not happy about the Airplay uselessness. Apple TV will not Airplay.
Same issue here. Seems a number of people are having the same problem.
WHAAATT? Few days ago it was compatible! They changed something and turned off airplay on 3rd generation making this box useless.
