ipad home button is broken

I had backed up and reset my ipad. I reinstalled and booted and then transferred the backup. The system turned itself off and on and ipad asked me to press home button. But the home button is broken. That's why I couldn't open it. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks.

No suggestions or ideas, except having your iPad's home screen repaired, if possible.
