Monterey Tips Notification

I accidentally closed the tips notification shown after Monterey was installed. What did it open when selected, or is there a way to access that closed notification again?

Yellow dot next to control panel? (in menu bar) Monterey 12.4. In the upper right corner of my screen, there's a yellow dot next to the control panel (or whatever it's called) in the menu bar. See my screenshot below. What does that yellow dot mean? I'm having trouble with notifications; many notifications never pop up in the upper right corner of the screen, but some do. I can't figure out why. When a message comes into Messages, for example, I *never* see or hear it, however, it's enabled in Notifications. I figured I must have accidentally enabled Do Not Disturb or something, but, as you can see, I haven't:

How do I hide TIME SENSITIVE notifications? I can't figure out how to hide Monterey's TIME SENSITIVE notifications so they don't constantly cover the top right-hand corner of my screen. These notifications sit directly on top of active controls, and important information all day long. It's maddening, and with full-screen applications it's a major problem since you can't even drag the window elsewhere. I am looking for a way to HIDE AND REVEAL these notifications, like we could do in the previous OS. Dismissing them or marking them complete is NOT a solution to this problem. Thanks!
