Regarding Apple ID Find My

is it possible for Apple to assist to contact the Apple ID user of the previous owner to remove the Device in their iCloud for us?

I bought it from someone online, and now I am unable to contact him, and his email popped out when I signed in my Apple ID to the MacBook which I am allowed to signed in, but Find My Mac is still under his email.

I believe I followed the correct process from the Apple website on what to do before selling the MacBook. I signed out of iCloud, reformatted (a couple of times actually), reset NVRAM, etc. I have also changed my Apple ID password and logged out of all devices. I may have forgot to turn off Find My Mac, but this is a maybe. Either way the new owner clearly never signed into their own iCloud account on the MacBook. Each time I remove the device it comes back a little while later on my list. Probably because the MacBook goes online again. What can I do here? Can the new owner have access to my iCloud (I doubt they can)? Thanks.

Disable Activation Lock status and remove Find My Hello, I bought used equipment from Ebay. When setting up a new user and signing in to iCloud. I see Find My appear with email address of the previous owner. This makes me concerned about my data being lost. I tried to contact the seller to remove Find My from the account but they say the device is offline. Please help me how to disable Find My and remove the previous owner's email address from the device. Best regards, Quang

Find My Mac settings I have bought a MacBook from another person who still has "Find My Mac" turned on with their Apple ID. How to change this to my Apple ID? Or will the previous owner need to disable from his end?

Apple doesn't track who owns/has owned devices/computers. Have you tried sending an email to their email address requesting them to do the steps in the article below?
