Iphone forgotten password, iPhone locked

This solution to unlock the iphone through iTunes no longer works with the new macOS Monterey as iTunes is no longer supported. How can this issue be resolved with unlocking a phone with forgotten password?

If you forgot your iPhone passcode

Sync iPhone with your computer this action is done in Finder and Sidebar
