Uninstall application

I want to completely uninstall applications on my iMac. What is the best way to do this? Is it ok to use an application uninstaller?

iMac Line (2012 and Later)

You need to research each app, some have their own uninstall instructions, however most you can just drag to the Trash and empty the Trash. You can also use an app like appcleaner.

I use "AppCleaner" for stand alone apps. unless the provider has an uninstall feature.

Depends on the Application that you want to remove?

Some can simply be moved to the trash, some require an uninstaller and ones that are part of macOS, can not be removed.
