Hi, I have backed up my old iPhone and restored all my data including photos and iMessage/messages onto my new iPhone; however the previous pictures sent in iMessage come up as a blank bubble instead of the image itself. I have updated the software &restarted my new iPhone but nothing seems to work.
How do I get my pictures onto iMessage to appear in the chat?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, after restoring your iPhone from a backup, the iMessage content doesn't show photos as expected.
Are you using Messages in iCloud? If so, is this enabled in Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Messages?
Do these photos not appear within the conversation or within the 'Info' tab of the contact? You'd see the info tab by tapping on the top where the contact image appears, then tapping on 'Info'.
