iTunes Match Ineligible Tracks

I have about 1000 songs (many purchased through iTunes) that are listed as ineligible using iTunes Match. If I sign up for Apple Music, will these re-appear as eligible?

The workaround that seems to work is to burn the songs to a CD then import, but this seems rather tedious for this number of songs.

Have there been any other solutions found?

what does itunes match do? what is it good for? i've been subscribed to and using iTunes match for years. my understanding of iTunes match's value for me is: music i've "brought into" apple music, by uploading CDs or individual songs i've purchased from Amazon, Lala, and other stores, would stay available as part of my apple music library. recently i've seen a clear case of songs i uploaded from a CD, songs that as a result i've had available for years, being "grayed out" in apple music, i.e. no longer available. i asked apple support, and must have spoken to 5 or 6 apple support advisors, and none of them explained to my satisfaction why my music was missing or really what i can expect iTunes match to do for me. that's my question: what does iTunes match actually do for subscribers? what is is good for?

itunes match I changed my iTunes Match subscription from one Apple ID to another. I now have songs that are "matched" in iTunes Match, but greyed out in Music so I cannot play or download the songs. I have tried signing in and out of my apple IDs both on my computer and in Music. I have updated the library. Any suggestions?

I have Apple Music and iTunes Match. What happens if I turn off iTunes Match? I have Apple Music Family (actually Apple One Family). I also have iTunes Match. I have about 500 iTunes Match songs shown as Uploaded (in the iCloud Status column in iTunes). We are told (such as here https://www.imore.com/do-i-still-need-itunes-match-if-i-have-apple-music and iTunes Match included in Apple Music - Apple Community) that we don't need iTunes Match if we have Apple Music. What exactly does this mean? That first article is pretty vague. The second quotes a support page that no longer says the quoted text. What happens with these Uploaded songs when I cancel iTunes Match? Will they still be available on all my devices? Will I still be able to rip a new CD and upload unrecognized tracks and have them available on all my devices, exactly as with iTunes Match? What about songs that are recognized by iTunes Match and thus are not uploaded, but are not in Apple Music? The two libraries are pretty similar but not the same. I have a few songs that are not offered on Apple Music but are matched on iTunes Match. Will I still have access to those on all my devices if I cancel iTunes Match? Thanks.
