Why am I getting a "fix your Visa" message?
I purchased the Acorn TV app through Apple quite a few months ago and have been watching it regularly on my Ipad ever since. I used my Visa to pay for it. My Visa is and continues to be perfectly valid and I continue to use it at other retailers, etc.
However, in the past week, I have been getting this message from Apple: "Acorn TV Payment declined. To keep your access, fix your Visa . . . (Apple Pay) now." First: Is this a legitimate message, or a possible phishing effort to get my credit card info? Second: Since my Visa remains valid, does anyone know why Apply may be sending me this message? Third: How do I go about changing my credit crd payment method for the Acorn app? Do I just have to change my entire payment method with Apple?
Yopur help is appreciated.
