Stop sharing an Apple ID immediately.

Each person, regardless of age, needs her/his own, unique Apple ID. The person acquiring the new ID must then thoroughly cleanse her/his Apple device(s) as follows:

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

That person then “moves in” using only items belonging to that new ID.

Family Sharing is then an option.
