MacBook Air M1 charge with old 29w adaptor

I recently purchased a MacBook Air M1 and I still have one of my old 29W chargers from 2017.

Would it be okay to charge my MB air M1 with the 29w charger? Is it compatible with M1 air?

If your 29W adapter has USB-C, you can charge your MacBook Air (M1, 2020). MacBook Air now comes with a 30W power adapter in the box, however, so I would recommend using that power adapter, but if, for example, you use your MacBook at home and at work and want to use two different adapters at each desk, the 29W adapter should charge your Mac just fine.
