How do I get messages from non iPhone users?

I have iMessage set up on my Mac, but I'm unable to get any messages that are from Android users. Is there a way to be able to receive these?

On your iPhone, make sure that you have Text Message Forwarding enabled.

Go to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding, and turn on the Mac that you want to connect to.
