Activation Failed - Apple TV 2nd Generation

All was working fine until a software update yesterday. After the software update, my Airplay and my Screen Mirroring no longer work.


I've never had this problem. I've restored, reset, unplugged, etc and it still says Activation Failed.


Are the two related? This is incredibly frustrating.

Activation Failed.

There are a few other threads about that on this forum. Not sure how widespread it is, but we did see a recent influx in such reports.

I would suggest to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/​email/​callback).
