Kindle - orientation lock turning off randomly

Has anyone else had this problem? My orientation lock has turned off randomly 4 different times today, and it’s been happening pretty consistently since I moved to the new phone.

Am I doing something wrong, is something happening when my phone is locked and in my pocket, do I just have bad juju, or what?

It’s clearly just a QOL issue, but it’s bugging me

Hi autrae, We appreciate you reaching out to us. We understand that the orientation lock feature of your device randomly turns off.

We’d like to gather additional details that may help us be in a better position to assist you.

Are you referring to the orientation lock for a specific app, or the orientation lock of the device itself?

We recommend that you make sure that you are using the latest version of iOS 14 or the latest version iOS 15.

While it isn't inherently assured that an update will resolve the issue, updating to the latest version of iOS for your device can help isolate potential software issues.

Kindly secure a backup and update.

autrae,

Thank you for the clarification.

Since the issue is isolated to a feature of the Kindle app, we recommend that you reach out to the app developer of Kindle.

The app developer of Kindle is in a better position to provide further assistance.
