I deleted my mail app and am attempting to reinstall it. I entered my correct icloud ID and password, hit next but can get no further. Any suggestions?

Open the App Store, tap on search and enter “Apple mail”. The very first app shown will be the default iOS/iPadOS mail app. Tap the cloud icon to download and install it.
Same here - installed ios 15.1 yesterday ( 2021 Nov 15 ) and email just closes every time I open it without loading anything - have force-quit and all and deleted the email app and re-installed from app store... now entering apple ID email and password and clicking 'next'... but it just sticks at that page without actually going to 'next' - ???
Thanks for the response. I’ve done all that, but am being asked to resign in with my apple ID and password. I know I am entering the correct info., but it is not being accepted.
