Can I wipe my iMac system clean and start all over ? I dont know my admin password to get passed the remote access on my setup of the Imac
iMac, OS X 10.11
In Terminal. Once you are in the Recovery Partition look in the menus to launch Terminal and once you have a Terminal Window open then type resetpassword.
Ok I get the command + r but where am I typing resetpassword ?
Restart in the Recovery Partition (hold down Command + R on startup)
Open Terminal
Type resetpassword and follow the on screen prompts
Next open Disk Utility and Erase the drive
Next Re-Install Mac OS
I dont know the credentials to authenticate your device is there a way to wipe my Imace clean and bypass all that
