I lost all my smart mailboxes from Mail
I have a time machine, but I don't know where to retrieve them. I don't know exactly where they are stored in sys.

We understand you'd like to retrieve mailboxes from a Time Machine backup. We'd like to assist.
First, have you verified the Smart Mailboxes option isn't hidden? You can do this by clicking Shift-Command-M.

There isn't a specific way to see the settings for the Smart Mailboxes in Time Machine. You can restore from a backup with these steps: Restore items backed up with Time Machine on Mac - Apple Support
