Apple Watch

Hello, my nephew is a tennis player and he wants to see his serve speed when he is playing. I know App Store already have some apps showing serve speed during the game but I want to know is there any hardware requirements for those apps or these apps can be used for all Apple watches. Also, if there is some hardware requirements which of your watches support this. For instance can we use those apps and see serve speed in Watch SE?
