No, trying to update Beats Studio Pro headphones using a Mac computer but updater app has been discontinued and only IOS or android devices now offer the option.
I think you are trying to update Mac OS , if you are PLEASE let us know:
a) what model year iMac you have.
b) what version of Mac OS is currently installed.
you can find that info by clicking the Apple symbol in the upper left and click “ About this Mac”
I intend to use a newly acquired pair of A2015 with my Macbook Pro running Catalina and would like to check to see if the firmware is up to date and update accordingly. That being said, where is the app? By removing it from the store it would appear Apple is endorsing the use of more risky 3rd party sites that host old and discontinued apps.
Where is the support and service Apple used to deliver?
A possible solution could be to install iOS device emulator on a Mac to try for an update to the headphones what way, but it seems like a lot of effort caused by Apple for removing the Beats Updater App.
