View Fitness app from MacBook

Sorry just seems a bit more than just a bit ridiculous you can't view the fitness app on the MacBook.

Also having never owned a MacBook but based on how nice the iPhone is I always wanted one. but this **** thing is not as user friendly as I'd expect. The tips notification took two days to pop up and it really isn't that helpful.. can I suggest sending a printed page of shortcuts with?? my god it took me a day to figure out to use two fingers on the touchpad to scroll... would love to know what else I'm missing.

Which MacBook do you have?

Multi-Touch trackpad gestures

Brush with two fingers on the trackpad to scroll up, down, or sideways. Swipe with two fingers to flip through web pages and documents. Click with two fingers to right-click. You can also click and then press deeper on the trackpad to Force click text and reveal more information. To learn more, choose System Preferences in the Dock, then click Trackpad.

What can I do with the touch pad besides scroll and use the mouse anything? I don't know. How about any suggestions on how to learn how to use this thing bc apple sure doesn't seem to be interested in teaching. I am a former windows user.

for instance another thing I mainly bought this to Zwift. being an iPhone user I expected to find Zwift in the App Store. apparently that's something you need to download straight from the site. Is there a reason behind this or something I could've used to predict this?

Hi Bdanner302,

Many Mac developers choose not to put their apps in the Mac App Store. This is mainly due to the below reasons:

  • It's possible to publish their apps outside of the App Store and remain trusted by Apple. This isn't the case on any other Apple platform.

  • Apple takes a 15% or 30% cut of all profits if the app is published in the App Store.
