The macOS 12.0.1 Finder Windows LACK a Tool icon which, when clicked, will DELETE the selected item.
In previous OS'es, the tool was a Trashcan, or a "slashed circle" – and I could go to View > Customize Toolbar, to find it, and drag it into any Finder Window. But not in macOS 12.0.1.
What have you heard about this vital Tool?

That it's there in the Customise Toolbar window to add, if you prefer. Or that you can duplicate that functionality with the backspace key on your keyboard, or using the right-click command. That's what I heard.
