Iphone 4 camera issue

I have just received an iphone4 and naturally have been using the super camera in it. Problem is that the more I shoot the slower the camera app is to open. I now have a gig of video and the camera will not open at all anymore. The app opens but the iris never does. I turned the iphone off but this does not seem to solve the issue. Does anyone else have this problem?

Macintel, iOS 4, Avid User, FCP, Lightworks etc

Wow that is interesting.

***** to hear about this, because im basically getting the iPhone 4 because of a couple things:

1. Rogers awesome 6gb data plan is a must, and i need to get it while its their
2. Its the iPhone, so it has the App store
3. The best camera to date on any apple mobile device, which is my main use of this device, I will be using it to mess around and create projects.

Hopefully this isnt a system wide error, can anyone else confirm that the OP is the only one with this issue? xD

Below is The crash log for the camera service from The iPhone 4. Interesting that it sees the hardware as 3.1 when it is an all new iPhone 4.

I arrived on this thread from Google when looking for "iphone failed to load sensor values" as my crash report is similar to yours. It's not about the camera app but about a watchdog timeout, it's a crash report of a brand new iphone 4 just plugged into itunes.
Like yours it says:

Thermal Level: -1
Thermal Sensors: failed to load sensor values

Did you see an increase in temperature on the back of your iphone when having that problem?
Are other people having similar crash reports on the iphone 4?
